WOODS HOLE – A 67-foot Rhode Island-based fishing vessel became grounded in Woods Hole Pass Monday.

Coast Guard crews were called to the scene just before noon, where they found the 67-foot Hope & Sydney stuck

The vessel had 2,500pounds of squid aboard and 5-thousand gallons of diesel fuel. Officials were originally concerned about the possibility of the fuel spill, but no signs of fuel were found in the water.

The vessel eventually refloated when the tide came in. Nobody was injured.
