Former Blood, Sweat & Tears Member to Perform in Wellfleet

WELLFLEET – A former member of Blood, Sweat & Tears will make his Cape Cod debut next month.

Guitarist Gregg Sullivan brings the Gregg Sullivan Quartet to Wellfleet Preservation Hall on Saturday, May 7 at 7 p.m.

The quartet will be performing R&B-jazz-groove tunes from The Crusaders, Steely Dan, Jimmy Smith and more.

Sullivan will also perform some solo acoustic fingerstyle guitar during the concert.

Originally from the New York City area, Sullivan now resides on Cape Cod and teaches at the Cape Conservatory.

Along with Blood, Sweat & Tears, he has performed or recorded with the Who’s Roger Daltrey, Mary Wilson of the Supremes, The Rascals and many more.

Sullivan has toured throughout the US, Canada and Europe playing at legendary venues including The Hollywood Bowl, Birdland and B.B. King’s in New York City and The Fillmore in San Francisco.

The quartet also includes keyboardist Fred Boyle, Rich Hill on bass and Bart Weisman on drums.
