Former Mass Democratic Party Chairman to Speak to Bourne Democrats

BOURNE – An expert in local activism will provide thoughts on Bourne voters and how to reach them at the Bourne Democratic Town Committee next Thursday.

Former state Democratic Party Chairman John Walsh will speak at the meeting and provide his insight into Bourne’s election patterns.

“John, as the campaign manager for former Governor Deval Patrick in his two successful elections, knows how to organize a grass-roots campaign,” said Bourne committee chair William Grant.

The meeting will also feature a discussion on future openings on town Boards and Committees, and how to become members of committees through either election or appointment.

The meeting is at Bourne Veterans Memorial Community Center at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.
