WEST BARNSTABLE – Cape Cod residents interested in learning more about the decommissioning of the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth are invited to a meeting on the topic Wednesday.

The program is sponsored by The Pilgrim Legislative Advisory Coalition together with Pilgrim Watch and will tackle a number of issues as the nuclear plan heads toward its scheduled June 2019 closure date.

Presenters at the event will consider both the potential health risks that come with decommissioning a nuclear plant as well as the financial implications which could end up affecting Massachusetts tax payers.

The presentation is free and open to the public. It will take place Wednesday from 12:30 to 4:00 PM at the Cape Cod Community College’s Science Building.
