ORLEANS – Pet lovers are invited to a fundraising event for the Animal Rescue League of Boston’s Brewster shelter this weekend.
Guapo’s restaurant and Agway of Cape Cod are putting on the “Mutts, Margaritas, and Costumes” event on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. The fundraiser will be held at Guapo’s Orleans location.
Appetizers and margarita samples will be served and organizers will put on a costume contest for the dogs in attendance. Pups can also bob for apples.
There will be a number of prizes associated with the contests. A number of local businesses have donated pet-related items for the fundraiser.
Admission is $10. Children and dogs get in free.
