BREWSTER – The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster is holding a fundraiser tonight to support great white shark research in local waters.
The event supports the work being done by state marine biologist Dr. Greg Skomal, who is conducting a first of its kind population study of great whites off the coast of Cape Cod. This is the second year of the five year study.
Skomal will present his latest findings at the fundraiser, and will also be joined by spotter pilot Wayne Davis, who helps researchers locate and photograph white sharks in the water off the Cape.
Doors open at 6 PM with wine and cheese, with the event beginning at 6:30. Admission is $25. All proceeds benefit Skomal’s white shark research.
