Gas Down 6 Cents Per Gallon in Massachusetts 

Gas PricesBOSTON (AP) — The price of a gallon of gasoline in Massachusetts has dropped 6 cents in the past week, the second consecutive week of lower prices.

AAA Northeast reported Monday that self-serve, regular is selling for an average of $2.66 per gallon, a dime lower than the in-state price a month ago and also 10 cents less than the national average.

The Bay State price is also 96 cents lower than a year ago.

According to the website gasbuddy.com, self-serve unleaded regular on Cape Cod ranges from $2.73 to $3.09 a gallon.
