Gas Up 4 Cents Per Gallon in Massachusetts

Gas PricesBOSTON (AP) — Gas prices in Massachusetts have gone up four cents since last week.

AAA Northeast says its weekly survey on Monday found self-serve, regular gas selling for an average of $2.11 per gallon.

That’s the lowest prices have been around Labor Day since 2004.

According to, the price of self-serve regular unleaded gas on Cape Cod ranges from a low of $2.05 a gallon to $2.45 a gallon.

The statewide price is 11 cents lower than the national average and 23 cents lower than the price in Massachusetts a year ago.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $1.99 per gallon and as high as $2.99.
