BOSTON – The second annual Gosnold Legacy Gala was held September 21st at the JFK Library in Boston, Governor Charlie Baker was honored with the organization’s Legacy award, Gosnold cited Baker’s work on the prevention and treatment of substance use disorders.
Former NBA player and motivational speaker Chris Herren was honored with the 2018 Community Service Award for his work advancing opportunities for individuals and families affected by substance abuse.
The Keynote Speaker for the evening was Elizabeth Vargas, the longtime Anchor of ABC News, she is also the author of New York Times Bestseller Between Breaths: A Memoir of Panic Addiction, a copy was given to all in attendance.
Founded in 1972, Gosnold specializes in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.
