Gov. Baker Attending Cape Events

FALMOUTH – Gov. Charlie Baker will be on Cape Cod today, attending two events this afternoon.

Baker will first attend the Blue Economy Briefing and Technology Showcase at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution at 2 p.m.

The Governor will then make an appearance at a campaign kickoff event for Falmouth State Rep. David Vieira. The event begins at 5 p.m. at the Coonamessett Inn.

Vieira, a Republican, will face a challenge from either former State Rep. Matt Patrick or Bourne Selectman Michael Blanton in the general election.
