BOURNE – The Military Asset and Security Task Force has a new executive director.
Governor Charlie Baker named Christopher Willenborg to the position Monday.
The Task Force was created in 2012 to strengthen and monitor the six military installations in the Commonwealth, including Joint Base Cape Cod.
These areas have brought an estimated $13 billion in total economic activity and over 61,000 jobs, according to the Baker administration.
Willenborg, who has been involved with airport management for 20 years, has also served in the Task Force since its creation.
