Governor to Address OneCape Summit

 

HARWICH PORT – Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker will be on Cape Cod today as the Keynote Speaker for this year’s OneCape Summit, hosted by the Cape Cod Commission, it takes place today and tomorrow at the Wequassett Resort in Harwich.

He and Lt. Governor Karyn Polito will address the group on Thursday’s opening day. “Governor Baker and his administration remain supportive partners in the Commission’s work on water quality, housing, and regionalization,” said Acting Executive Director Kristy Senatori. “We’re pleased that he and Lt. Governor Karyn Polito will join us for this important gathering of community leaders from across the Cape.”  

The OneCape Summit is a forum for issues affecting the region.

It attracts over 300 attendees and features speakers from across all levels of government and the private sector.

This year the conference will focus on environmental, economic, and community resilience.

Day one covers regional water quality and coastal resiliency and day two covers the economy, regional planning and policies, housing and infrastructure.
