Grandmothers Against Gun Violence Holding Public Vigil

HYANNIS – Cape Cod Grandmothers Against Gun Violence is holding its 7th Annual National Vigil of Remembrance for Victims of Gun Violence and the public is invited to join.

The interfaith vigil of remembrance is presented for the “remembrance and commitment to ending our nations’ epidemic of gun violence shootings,” said the group in a statement.

Attendees are invited to reflect on past violent events and reestablish their commitment to the gun violence prevention movement.

Ruth Zakarin, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Coalition to End Gun Violence and Tristan Grieve, Massachusetts State Director of March for Our Lives will both be guest speakers at the event.

The vigil will be held Saturday, December 14 at 5 pm at the Federated Church of Hyannis, 320 Main Street.
