PROVINCETOWN – The “Great Music on Sundays @5” concert series in Provincetown will conclude its 20th season next month with the world premiere of “Persephone’s Daughter: Rise Up!”
The concert is Sunday, October 7 at 5 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House of Provincetown.
The women’s chorus of Plymouth has been touched deeply by the “March of Our Lives” and the “Me Too” social justice movements and will celebrate and honor the millions who are creating positive change and a driving sense of hope for a better world.
The performance will feature compositions by Bob Marley, Lin-Manuel Miranda and more.
Admission is $20 at the door. There is a $5 discount for seniors and children 12 and under are free.

“Great Music on Sundays @5” is Provincetown’s longest-running concert series. It provides a unique musical and cultural niche. Since the 1999 season, more than 300 concerts have been presented by more than 100 performers.
