DENNIS – Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod is inviting the public to a construction kickoff celebration for a new project in Dennis.
The group is building three affordable homes at the corner of South Yarmouth Road and Janall Drive. The project is being funded by the town, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, and the Yarmouth Dennis Faith Build.
“This reception is an opportunity for people to meet their new neighbors and a short info session for potential volunteers and those curious to know what we will be building and about the Habitat program. We hope to see old friends and new and encourage volunteering with us. Everyone has something to offer and we’ll find a place for you.” said Vicki Goldsmith, Executive Director Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod.
The ceremony is planned for Tuesday, October 9 at 5 p.m. at the Dennis Union Church on Route 6A.
Attendees will have the opportunity learn more about Habitat’s mission and to meet the families who will be purchasing the homes.
