Habitat for Humanity Cape Cod to Dedicate Two New Dennis Homes

DENNIS–Habitat for Humanity Cape Cod has announced that two new houses at 30 and 34 Janall Drive in Dennis will be dedicated tomorrow.

The houses will become the new homes for two families who qualify for Habitat Cape Cod’s selection criteria.

“These are homes that have been under construction for the last 11 months or so, with our local community volunteers side by side with the two families who will be purchasing them now that they are complete,” said Habitat Cape Cod’s Execuitve Director Vikki Goldsmith.

Goldsmith also explained the feelings these families often feel at the completion of these projects.

“They often speak of the pride and the hard work that they’ve done, how they have felt surrounded by the love of the community, the appreciation they feel for having been given this opportunity to purchase a home at a price they can afford.”

The dedication ceremony is set to begin at 5:30 pm at the Janall Drive site. Attendants are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
