HAC Accepting Applications for Affordable Home in Buzzards Bay

BUZZARDS BAY – Housing Assistance Corporation is accepting applications for an affordable home in the Pilgrim Pines neighborhood.

Pilgrim Pines consists of 122 single-family homes in Buzzards Bay just off the Scenic Highway.

One home, priced at $187,500, will be sold to first-time homebuyers who meet income eligibility requirements.

The home is brand new, three bedroom colonial style with a resale restriction, but income and asset limits apply.

Assets must not exceed $75,000.

An information session will be held on June 23, at 5:30 pm, at the Bourne Community Center in Buzzards Bay for those looking for more information.

Applications are avalible at the Bourne Town Hall, Bourne Housing Partnership, Bourne Housing Authority, Bourne Public Library and at Housing Assistance Corporation in Hyannis.

The deadline to submit an application is August 19 by 5:00 pm.
