HAC Seeks Contractors for Yarmouth Home Repairs

Housing Assistance CorporationYAMOUTH – Housing Assistance Corporation is looking for home improvement and general contractors to participate in the Home Ownership Preservation Program in Yarmouth.

It assists homeowners, whose annual income is at or below 80 percent of Barnstable County’s area median income, with repair work.

Projects include preserving the structural integrity of homes, roofing, siding, window replacement, upgrading dangerous plumbing and electrical services and installing smoke alarms and sprinkler systems.

All repair work must fall within health or safety issues.

Contractors must have a valid Contractor Supervisor or a Home Improvement Contractor license to participate.

The submission of estimates are required to work on projects and payment will be issued after a passed quality control inspection conducted by HAC.

The program runs through June of 2017 and is paid for with Yarmouth Community Preservation Act funds.
