Harwich Conservation Trust Helping to Reduce Pesticide Use on Cape

HARWICH- Officials from the Harwich Conservation Trust are looking for the public’s help in reducing the amount of herbicide used by Eversource’s contractors on utility rights-of-way that cross conservation lands.

On Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, HCT will host 20 volunteers to help lop, and prune vegetation in East Harwich. Gloves and loppers will be provided for those who want to help.

To register, you can contact HCT Outreach & Stewardship Coordinator Tyler Maikath at [email protected]
