HARWICH – The Dennis Harwich Lions Club has made a donation to the Harwich Fire Department for the purchase of equipment.
The department used the funding to buy two command boards.
The boards are used by Incident Commanders to manage incidents and are critical to accountability and firefighter safety at large scale incidents.
The Command Posts, designed and built by Command Post Consultants, are the same as those used by other area fire departments.
The posts will be carried in the Chief and Deputy Chief vehicles.
