Harwich Police and Fire Personnel Save Man’s Life After Overdose

ambulanceHARWICH – Harwich police and fire crews saved the life of a man who overdosed on opiates last night.

A police officer found the man in cardiac arrest in a parked car at the Cranberry Valley Golf Course. Police officers provided medical care until Harwich Fire crews arrived to administer the drug narcan, which reversed the effects of the overdose.

Police say the victim was alert as he was being taken to Cape Cod Hospital
