HARWICH – The Harwich Conservation Trust’s 5th Annual ‘Wildlands Music & Art Stroll’ will be held on Saturday, September 9 from 1-4 p.m.

As the date approaches, organizers are looking for volunteer commitments to help support the day’s festivities.

Volunteers are needed for setup (between 9 a.m. and noon), breakdown (4 to 5:30 p.m.), the event itself (1 to 4 p.m.), or all the above.

Setup will consist of moving chairs from the Community Center to the Bogs, putting up signage at Monomoy High School and at the Bogs.

For the event itself, volunteers will serve as musician/artist support or raffle ticket seller. Organizers are hoping for two shifts so volunteers can enjoy the event.

Volunteers for breakdown will take down signage and return chairs to the Community Center by 5 p.m.

At the event, participants can leisurely walk trails and experience live music while artists paint the landscape around them.

Parking is available in the back of Monomoy Regional High School where there will be a shuttle bus, that will take people to the event, which is held at HCT’s 66-acre Robert F. Smith Cold Brook Preserve in Harwich Port.

At the event, the suggested admission donation is just $5.00 per person.
