Harwich Conservation Trust to Host “Birding for Beginners Workshop”

HARWICH PORT- As another Cape Cod Summer nears closer, so do the soothing sounds of native and visiting song birds.

This provides the perfect opportunity for local birding enthusiasts to join tour guide Todd Kelley at the Harwich Conservation Trusts “Birding for Beginners” workshop next month.

On Sunday May 26th from 8am to 10am participants will get to take an in-depth look at HCT’s largest trail of nestboxes that host hundreds of bluebirds, tree swallows, and other species.

Visitors will also get the opportunity to learn how to recognize and identify birds by sight, and sound, along with how to distinguish various bird tracks, and plumage.

The event is priced at $15 per person and will take place at the 66 acre Robert F. Smith Cold Brook Preserve in Harwich Port.
