Head-On Crash in Centerville Sends Four to the Hospital

ER medical symbolCENTERVILLE – Centerville-Osterville, Martsons Mills Fire and Rescue crews responded to a head-on crash between two vehicles that sent four people to the hospital early this morning.

Rescue crews arrived at the scene on Falmouth Road (Route 28) at the intersection of Old Stage Rd just after 1:30 a.m.

Cpt. Sean Greene said that both vehicles were heavily damaged from the collision and that both spun after impact hitting two different utility poles.

There were five total passengers involved in the crash.

Crews transported three 21-year-old females who were riding in a Nissan sedan to Cape Cod hospital with minor injuries.

The other vehicle involved was a Jeep Cherokee with a male driver and his 4-year-old daughter, who was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The damage to the utility poles caused an outage of the traffic lights at the intersection.

Repair crews arrived on scene around 7 a.m. and had the lights restored around noon.
