BUZZARDS BAY – Local service personnel will be honored next month at the 37th annual Military Awards Dinner.
The event honors men and women chosen from different posts at Joint Base Cape Cod and Coast Guard Sector Southeastern New England in Woods Hole. The honorees are selected by commanding officers for their accomplishments.
The dinner takes place on November 7 at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay. The Adjutant General of Massachusetts, Major General L. Scott “Catfish” Rice, will be the presenter. State Senator Dan Wolf will serve as guest speaker.
The event begins at 5:30 pm with a cocktail reception, with dinner and presentations starting at 7 pm.
