Shark Activity Closes Head of the Meadow Beach for a Second Time Thursday

TRURO – Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro was closed for a second time Thursday following a shark sighting.

According to the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy’s Sharktivity app, the beach was closed to swimming for an hour after the sighting was confirmed around 1:30 p.m.

The beach was also closed this morning after a shark was spotted before 10:30 a.m.

Shark Activity briefly closed Head of the Meadow Beach Wednesday and Monday.
