SANDWICH – A festival in Sandwich with a spooky theme will be held later this month to support the STEM Academy/Sandwich High School Parent Teacher Student Association.
Heritage Museums & Gardens is partnering with the association to host the 2nd annual Sandwich Halloween Festival on Saturday, October 27 from 5-9 p.m.
All visitors will be able to participate in Halloween-themed activities, including a costume parade, a dance party, a scavenger hunt, free carousel rides, themed crafts, STEM activities and a photo op in a 1913 Model T Ford.
Guests can also support the association with ticketed activities all around the grounds. There will be face painting and carnival-style games, like a witch’s hat ring toss, pumpkin broom sweep, “witch pitch” beanbag toss, Halloween Lucky Duck and more games run by the high school’s Junior Class.
New activities include a dunk tank to benefit the senior class and a “Storybook Trail” where Halloween stories will be brought to life with live narration and characters.
Admission is $5 with a $25 maximum per family. Tickets may be purchased at the ticket window or online at heritagemuseums.org.
