PROVINCETOWN -As the Starz channel begins filming “Hightown,” a new series for the network, producers are holding an open casting call in Provincetown this weekend for extras on the series.
Those interested should be at the Provincetown Inn on Commercial Street on Saturday, May 18th, the call is being held from 10-4. Producers are requiring anyone trying out to bring a photo.
The series focuses on a hard partying lesbian fisheries worker who discovers a body in Cape Cod Bay. She also finds herself coping with the Cape’s ongoing opioid problem.
The production recently received approval for filming from the Provincetown Select Board.
