Holiday Offerings at Chatham’s Atwood Museum

CHATHAM – As Christmas approaches, the season is heating up with holiday offerings around Cape Cod.

The Atwood Museum in Chatham has several events planned to get attendees into the holiday spirit.

The Grinch will be attending a breakfast in his honor on December 9th at the museum. The event will feature Who-pudding and beasts along with entertainment by the Grinch. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Also on December 9th, an old fashioned wooden toy workshop is scheduled in Santa’s Workshop, and you can also have your picture taken with the man himself. If you bring items for the Food Pantry you get in free.

Those events are followed by a Stuff the Sleigh event that will be held throughout the month. Hats, gloves and other items donated will go to Chatham’s needy. Stuff the Sleigh concludes on December 23rd.

On December 15th, an event featuring local authors at a book signing will be held, featuring authors who focus on a variety of subjects. There will also be entertainment and refreshments.

On December 20th, a reading of holiday selections written by Chatham’s best selling author Joseph C. Lincoln with local actor Scott Hamilton doing the reading.

The season wraps up with a holiday sale in the museum’s gift shop on December 23rd
