Home Sales Numbers Released by Realtors

WEST YARMOUTH – The Cape and Islands Association of Realtors says that 482 homes sold in November, 390 single family homes and 92 condominiums.

Median sales price was $435,000 for single family homes and $294,000 for condominiums.

Last November, 429 sold at a median price of $405,000 for single family homes and $287,500 for condominiums. “As we close in on the end of the year, we’re forecasting fewer sales than 2017 and fewer pending sales as we head into our year end numbers.

Rising interest rates throughout the have slowed the pace and volume of sales, though the continuing rise in median sales price and drop in cumulative days on the market reflects the region’s overall strength,” said Martha Knapp, President of the Cape and Islands Association of Realtors.

Year to date, 3,771 single family homes have sold for a median price of $429,000 and 975 condos have sold for a median price of $299,000.
