Hospital Opens Scholarship Application Process

FALMOUTH – The medical staff of Falmouth Hospital is accepting applications for its annual scholarship awards. 

Four will be presented in the amount of $1,000.

Only high school seniors who reside in Bourne, Mashpee, Falmouth or Sandwich are eligible. 

The other requirements are being a high school senior who has been accepted to a university, college or trade school, and having a demonstrated need for financial aid. 

The application includes a 500 word maximum essay with a description of how Falmouth Hospital or its physicians have impacted your friends and/or family in a positive manner. 

In addition,  it must show the candidate’s plans for financing their education and an explanation of their need for assistance. 

Finally, it must include a high school transcript copy, two letters of reference, family and friends excluded, attesting to their community/volunteer activities, leadership qualities, and career potential.  

The scholarships will be awarded in July.
