Cape Cod Community Health Center Picks Up Awards for 2018 Improvements

MASHPEE – A local health center based in Mashpee has received a number of grants for their improvements over the past year.

The Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Bureau of Primary Healthcare has recognized the Community Health Center of Cape Cod for numerous quality improvement achievements in 2018.

The non-profit organization has been awarded grants for Clinical Quality Improvement, Electronic Health Record Reporting, Health Center Quality Leadership, Achieving Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition, and Advancing Health Information Technology.

The awards recognize the highest performing health centers across the country along with the centers who have made significant improvements from the previous year.

“Technology continues to enhance how we deliver health care and how we advance towards better patient outcomes. We take great pride in using state of the art systems to help us improve quality of care,” CHC CEO Katy O’Connell said.

“We’re honored to be recognized by HRSA as health center leader in these categories and look forward to using these grants to support our quality improvement program at the Health Center.”
