Hundreds Attend CCYP Back to Business Bash

ccypBARNSTABLE – It was a big turn-out for the 10th Annual CCYP Back to Business Bash, which has become one of the largest networking events on Cape Cod.

Hundreds attended the celebration at the Barnstable Municipal Airport Thursday night. This marked the first year the event was held at the airport.

The Bash celebrates the end of the summer season and serves as a look-ahead to the off-season.

“Labor Day has past, the kids are back in school, and it’s time to get back to business,” said CCYP Executive Director Anne Van Vleck.

“We’re representing opportunities for businesses and people across the Cape,” Van Vleck added.

The Bash featured live music and samples of food and drink from local businesses. A 2016 Volkswagon Jetta was also raffled off.

The networking and community advocacy group has seen its membership grown to 1,200 since its inception in 2005. CCYP was founded in 2005 with the goal of engaging and connecting young professionals with each other and the community.
