Hyannis Airport to Celebrate Veterans with Art Display

HYANNIS – Barnstable Municipal Airport will be celebrate Veterans Day with an interpretive art display by local students.

“From the Worlds of Warriors II” will include 30 pieces of art created by middle school students from Barnstable, Bourne and Provincetown.

The artwork represents the students’ interpretations of veterans’ service through the mediums of watercolors, pen and ink, sculpture and acrylic.

The exhibit will be displayed from November 9-18.

A closing reception for veterans and students will be held November 15 at 5 p.m.
