Hyannis Business to Provide Temporary Office Space and Amenities

managementHYANNIS – Offices for freelancers, mobile workers, visitors or anyone who needs temporary business space will be available in Hyannis next spring.

Capespace on Independence Drive will be the first full-service co-work business center on the Cape.

“The best way to visualize that is to think about the airport business lounge,” said Robbin Orbison, the owner of Capespace. “[A] comfortable, functional space where you can have access to outstanding, excellent wi-fi service and access to all the business services that you need.”

The business center will feature private offices, semi-private workstations, a business lounge, meeting and training facilities, virtual offices, business services and amenities.

Orbison says the space and amenities will be available in a wide variety of flexible packages to fit every work style and budget.

“This shared work space is something coming more and more to the forefront in the economy now, this innovation based economy and entrepreneurial economy,” said Jo Anne Miller Buntich, the director of growth management for the town of Barnstable.

Buntich said Orbison has brought something new to the Cape and is interested to see how successful it can be.

“She wants to provide resources for the traveling business person,” she said. “And for the business person who may be working out of their home and wants conference space or just a quiet space to work.”

Capespace will be the first commercial customer of CapeNet wi-fi.
