Hyannis Film Screening To Focus On Opiate Dangers

YouthHYANNIS – A film aimed to educate parents and young adults about the dangers of opiates will be shown in Hyannis this week.

The documentary “Not Yet” will be shown to the community at the Barnstable High School Performing Arts Center Thursday at 7 pm.

A panel of local officials will be on hand to discuss the issue after the screening, including Barnstable Police Chief Paul MacDonald and Barnstable County Sheriff Jim Cummings.

The screening is open to children ages 13 and up.

The event is being organized by the Barnstable Youth Commission.

“Not Yet” was produced by the Lyndon Paul Lorusso Foundation and Grand Cove Productions.
