HYANNIS – The Hyannis Main Street Business Improvement District will host a tenant consultant presentation next month to discuss potential long and short term outlooks for the area.
The workshop will be highlighted by presentation from one of America’s leading experts and futurists on urban and Main Street districts.
Tenant and retail consultant Michael J. Berne is a regular presenter and keynote speaker at industry conferences, including those of the International Downtown Association, the National Main Street Center, the American Planning Association, and the Urban Land Institute, among others.
Elizabeth Wurfbain, Executive Director of the Business Improvement District, highlighted Berne’s credentials.
“Michael Berne knows the Cape which is fabulous,” she explained, “He has come three different times to meet with focus groups and analyzed Hyannis verses Chatham, verses Falmouth, verses 132, all the different pieces and also similar areas that would be like Hyannis.”
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 15th at noon, At Alberto’s Ristorante. Local business representatives are invited to attend.
