Hyannis Library to Receive Manuscript Donation from Author Casey Sherman

HYANNIS – Cape Cod native and award-winning author, Casey Sherman has announced that he will donate two of his most recent manuscripts to the Hyannis Public Library at a ceremony this month.

Born and raised on the Cape, Sherman wanted to give back to the place that gave him so much by handing over the texts of ‘Above and Beyond’ and ‘12’.

Above and Beyond tells the story of President John F. Kennedy and two U-2 pilots, Rudy Anderson and Chuck Maultsby, who risked their lives to save America during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

The book serves as an intimate, gripping account of the lives of these three war heroes, brought together on a day that changed history, October 27, 1962.

12 tells the story of Tom Brady’s comeback after starting his 2016 season suspended for under-inflating footballs in their playoff victory against the Indianapolis Colts in 2015.

Readers of this account will gain have an exclusive look into Tom Brady’s experience and the NFL’s shocking strangle-hold on their players.
