HYANNIS – Construction for the Sea Street Improvements project is set to get underway tomorrow.
The initial construction activity this month includes installing signs and erosion control, deploying a construction office trailer and surveying for drainage improvements. Construction is scheduled to continue through mid May then discontinued for the summer, then resume after Labor Day.
The project is scheduled to be complete by December of 2019.
Traffic is expected to be maintained on Sea Street during the work although lane closures are expected. A police detail will be stationed on site to assist with traffic.
