Ideas Needed For Chatham Property Use

CHATHAM – Ever since Chatham took possession of the Eldredge Garage property, they have been asking for input about what exactly they should do with it.

The town paid $2.5 million for the 1.4 acre parcel.

Abutters and the general public attended a listening session on January 11th with the nine member property planning committee.  They will hold another meeting on February 8th

They are looking for both long and short term ideas.

Suggestions already received for the space’s use include parking, retail, conservation and recreation, affordable housing, or any combination thereof.

Ideas will be accepted until February 23rd

Those wishing to submit their thoughts by email can do so at [email protected].
