IFAW Crews Rescue 3 Stranded Dolphins in Brewster

BREWSTER – Rescue teams from the International Fund for Animal Welfare were called to Brewster Wednesday afternoon for a report of stranded dolphins.

When the Marine Mammal Rescue and Research team arrived, they found three of the dolphins stranded on score. There were at least two more dolphins that had been spotted swimming close to shore.

Crews were quickly able to transfer the animals to their medical trailer for evaluation and determined the dolphins were in good health.

The dolphins were released a short time later in the waters off West Dennis Beach.
