Information Session to be Held Tonight for Yarmouth Affordable Housing Buydown Lottery

YARMOUTH – An information session will be held tonight for an affordable home ownership lottery in Yarmouth.

The Yarmouth Buydown Program lottery will provide up to $100,000 from the Yarmouth Affordable Trust to four income eligible first-time homebuyers towards the purchase of a market rate home in town.

Lottery winner will search for a home in Yarmouth and receive 35 percent of the sales price, up to $100,000 to buy down the price at closing.

A deed restriction will be recorded at the closing.

The information session begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Yarmouth Senior Center.

The deadline to apply for the lottery is November 17 at 5 p.m.
