FALMOUTH – The Falmouth Chamber of Commerce received help from inmates at the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office recently.

Inmates took eight days to complete a repainting of the two-story building.

The job required scaffolding and included a power-wash, followed by a prime and top coat of white paint.

The total labor savings for the project was about $12,000.

The same job was accomplished by different inmates from the same labor pool seven years ago.
