Input Sought for Downtown Hyannis Parking Project

KA_Hyannis_Main Street_11315 (1)HYANNIS – The Town of Barnstable has begun the process of developing strategies to make Downtown Hyannis more parking-friendly.

Teaming with a Boston-based consulting firm, the town is currently gathering data on parking supply and the effectiveness of the existing parking system.

Strategies will focus on innovative, cost-effective solutions that will balance the needs of residents, businesses, and visitors.

Public input is being sought through an online survey, social media, and through an open house which will take at Town Hall located at 367 Main St., on Tuesday May 16, from 4-8 p.m.
