BARNSTABLE – The search continues for a new principal at one of the elementary schools in Barnstable.
Interviews will soon get underway for the vacancy at Barnstable United Elementary. Principal Mary Sullivan went on leave in August and has since been replaced by Barnstable Intermediate School Principal James Anderson.
The interviews are planned for next week and will be conducted by a search committee made up of teachers, administration officials, district personnel, a parent, and a school committee member.
The committee will then choose two finalists to be interviewed by Superintendent Meg Mayo-Brown.
Parents and community members can take a survey on the school district’s website to express what qualities they are looking for in a principal.
