Island Ferry Service Curtailed Due To High Winds

BB_Nantucket_HyannisFerrySign_Summer2015HYANNIS – Today’s high winds are resulting in a number of ferry cancellations to and from Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

Hyline and the Steamship Authority are running on a boat-by-boat basis. Both ferry providers cancelled a series of early morning runs to both islands.

The National Weather Service is calling for winds out of the west at 15 to 45 miles per hour.

The Cape and Islands are under a wind advisory until 10 p.m.
