Jeep Catches Fire in Plymouth, Sends Passenger to Hospital

jeep fire 070814PLYMOUTH – Plymouth Fire and Rescue crews transported an occupant of a Jeep Wrangler to the hospital last night after suffering severe burns when the vehicle caught fire.

Massachusetts State Police Troopers arrived at the scene on Route 3 Southbound just south of exit 2 in Plymouth around 11:45 p.m.

Troopers found the Jeep already engulfed and all passengers had exited the vehicle.

EMS crews transported the victim to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

The incident is still under investigation by the State Troopers from the Bourne Barracks.
