JFK Hyannis Museum to Celebrate 25th Anniversary on Tuesday

HYANNIS – The JFK Hyannis Museum will celebrate their 25th anniversary on Tuesday.

Founded on July 22, 1992, the museum has welcomed 1.5 million visitors from every corner of the world.

The Museum has also received a $100,000 donation from the Scudder Family/Hy-Line Cruises for the Museum’s capital campaign.

The funds will assist in the renovations and upgrades to the museum’s lower level which will contain an auditorium/media room and a community room.

The community room will be named “The Scudder Family Community Room”, and will be used for education and cultural programs.

“We thank the Scudder Family and Hy-Line Cruises for their extraordinary gift, which reflects their enthusiasm for learning, commitment to education and support for the rich and significant history of Cape Cod and the Kennedy presidency,” said Executive Director John Allen.

The gift will be acknowledged at a ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the museum on Tuesday.

The museum will also celebrate the unveiling of a new logo.
