Joint Committe on Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Recovery to Host Listening Session

BARNSTABLE – A listening session focusing on mental health, substance abuse and recovery will take place today in Barnstable.

Led by State Senator Julian Cyr and state Representative Marjorie Decker the session will provide an opportunity for Cape and Islands citizens to be heard as a part of the Joint Committee on Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Recovery’s statewide listening tour.

State Representative and House ranking minority member of the committee William Crocker will also participate.

The session is set to be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the Harbor View conference room at the Barnstable County Complex, located at 3195 Main Street, Barnstable Village.
