Keating: Vigilance Needed After Planned Attacks

bkhsWASHINGTON – Massachusetts 9th District Congressman William Keating says continued vigilance is needed following this weekend’s attacks in New York, New Jersey, and Minnesota.

In a statement, Keating said it is necessary to provide the FBI and local law enforcement with the appropriate resources and manpower to investigate and prosecute cases of domestic terrorism.

“I will continue efforts to work with Department of Homeland Security officials to ensure information is shared among all tiers of our country’s national security organizations,” Keating said.

“My thoughts and prayers go out to those injured in the attacks in New York, New Jersey, and Minnesota over the weekend,” Keating said. It is important we also recognize the hard work of the first responders and members of law enforcement who acted swiftly and courageously in the wake of the attacks.”
